Type Description
Winning conditions The winning conditions differ depending on whether players are defending or attacking.
Attacking Faction: Kill the NPC leader of the opposing faction
Defending Faction: Defend the NPC leader for a certain amount of time
Participation restrictions There are no restrictions (all players can participate)
Starting alert Starting 5 minutes prior to the battle, the "City Siege" alert message is sent in the server-wide chat every minute. It’s displayed every second when there are 30 seconds remaining until the battle begins.
Starting alert message Alert message differs depending on whether players are defending or attacking.
Attacking Faction: City Siege (Attacking) will start in 5 minutes
Defending Faction: City Siege (Defending) will start in 5 minutes
How to participate There are two ways to participate:
  1. Players can click the "Automatically Enter" check box located in the Combat Status UI. (default value “Automatically Enter”)
  2. Players can also use the button activated beside the mini map.
Participation check 1. Once the City Siege begins, all players’ status changes to "currently in City Siege".

2. A Combat Progress Status UI is activated on all players’ main screen UIs.

Available time for entry 5 minutes of starting alert have to end before anyone can enter.

Players can freely enter at any time before the City Siege ends.

-> Players can enter the City Siege whenever they want once it has started until it ends.
Battle area Players are moved to the designated capital city
Start location Players start at a different location depending on whether they are defending or attacking
-> Attacking start locations: 3 total
-> Defending start locations: 3 total
Number of NPCs 1 NPC leader per city
How to kill the NPCs 1. The NPC leader can be attacked like any enemy NPC.

2. The City Leader has a HP gauge, when it reaches zero, it is destroyed.

NPC battle ability NPC City Leader attacks players from the opposing faction.
Status of NPC 1. NPC City Leader's death status is shown as Yes/No

2. Shows NPC’s remaining HP.

Death penalty Loss of durability on death is applied when dying in PvP.
Respawn location Players respawn at the starting location.
Victory/Defeat results The Result UI is displayed for 10 seconds. You can’t attack enemy players while results are being displayed.
Rewards There are 3 Rewards:
  1. Fame Points (given to both the victorious and defeated faction)
  2. Fame Coins (given to both the victorious and defeated faction)
  3. A faction buff is applied for players of the winning faction
Leaving battleground during battle Players are returned to the locations they were at before entering the battleground.
End of battleground Players are returned to the locations they were at before entering the battleground.
